The ‘Kiyomi’ opihi ring is a fully closed ring with a Hawaiian opihi shell, and a faceted white topaz gemstone accenting the band.
Opihi shells are some of my favorite shells to find here on Hawai’i. Don’t let the cuteness of these shells fool you- they are tenacious little ones, that cling onto rocks along our Hawaiian coastlines, which serve to protect and nurture them. Locals sometimes reference their keiki as opihis, because of their similar desires to want to ‘stick’ to their mothers, latching onto their source of safety and life.
Care Instructions: These are solid 10k gold, which maintains its luster and shine quite naturally. If needed, you may polish gently with a polishing cloth.
.Please respect our oceans and never take occupied shells.
