Antique white "milk glass" is a term used by glass-makers for opaque white glass.

Milk glass looks similar to that of porcelain, and was first made in Venice as early as the 14th or 15th century, and was later introduced in almost every other country that made glass.

During the 19th and 20th centuries opaque, white glass was made in large quantities, and has now found itself in oceans around the world. Most of the glass originates from tableware such as plates, mugs, and vases.

These milk glass pieces make for the most minimal, romantic pieces. Each piece is

dipped in 24k gold and are on 18" gold-filled chains.

It's so dainty and pretty! Love the opaque white. As always, great customer service. I have a quite a few pieces from Rise and unfortunately the gold dip and chains have tarnished over time, but she has redipped the pendants for me and I've repurchased chains when they get too tarnished with no problem. She has beautiful pieces and great customer service; what more could you want?! 😁
