The ‘Kiyomi’ opihi ring is a fully closed ring with a Hawaiian opihi shell, and a faceted white topaz gemstone accenting the band.
Opihi shells are some of my favorite shells to find here on Hawai’i. Don’t let the cuteness of these shells fool you- they are tenacious little ones, that cling onto rocks along our Hawaiian coastlines, which serve to protect and nurture them. Locals sometimes reference their keiki as opihis, because of their similar desires to want to ‘stick’ to their mothers, latching onto their source of safety and life.
Care Instructions: Solid 10k gold rings maintain their luster and shine quite naturally. Sterling silver may oxidize over time and if needed, you may polish gently with a polishing cloth to regain its shine.
Note: you will receive a ring similar to those pictured. Each opihi is beautifully unique and have slight variation in size, color, and texture. If you have a specific preference, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with your order # and request.
. Please respect our oceans and never take occupied shells .
